The Spark
Every home has a story—too often, that story goes untold
SPLAT Homestyle was born from a desire to make everyday spaces feel alive again—expressive, personal, and full of energy.
We believe design isn’t just about things —it’s about transformation.
Why SPLAT?
Because a home should make you feel something.
Because bold doesn’t mean chaotic.
Because transformation can be both playful and profound.
Our Aesthetic
We live at the intersection of:
Style and Soul—design that feels as good as it looks.
Pattern and Restraint— knowing when to layer and when to let light breathe.
Play and Precision— every “splat” moment guided by intention.
Laura Fusco
Laura Fusco is the founder of SPLAT Homestyle, bringing a lifelong passion for home design into a new creative chapter shaped by decades of experience as a writer, creative director, and former advertising agency owner. While her professional career was built on helping brands find their voice and connect with people in meaningful, relatable ways, her true creative outlet has always been much closer to home.
For more than 25 years, Laura has been renovating and reimagining spaces—transforming houses within their original footprint, preserving what works, and designing thoughtfully around what doesn’t. Together with her husband, she has brought multiple homes back to life, creating environments that feel warm, personal, and meant to be lived in. From primary residences to rental properties, their approach has always been the same: honor the character of the space, layer in intention, and make it somewhere people genuinely enjoy celebrating, living, and gathering.

What started as a passion project gradually became something more. Friends and family—drawn to her intuitive eye and ability to make spaces feel effortlessly pulled together—encouraged Laura to turn this lifelong interest into her next chapter.
SPLAT Homestyle was born from that evolution.
Laura’s approach to home styling is deeply influenced by her background in storytelling. Just as she once worked with clients to solve complex marketing challenges and shape authentic brand narratives, she now applies that same thinking to the home. It starts with listening—understanding how people live, what they love, and how they want to feel in their space. From there, she looks at what already exists, identifying the pieces that support that vision and reworking them in new, unexpected ways.
Because to Laura, styling a home isn’t about starting over—it’s about transformation.
Through thoughtful layering, pattern play, and intentional arrangement, she helps clients uncover the potential in their space and shape it into something that feels cohesive, expressive, and entirely their own. The result is not just a beautifully styled home, but one that tells a story—honest, personal, and designed for real life.
