An unexpected find turned into a modern retreat

Queens Court was discovered by chance. We were drawn in by the idea of an indoor pool and the sense that something special was hidden beneath the surface. The home was weighed down by glass, marble, and dated finishes, but the bones were undeniable. The transformation began with the pool. This was a full rebuild that became a sunlit, wood-lined space centered around a modern lap pool. It quickly became the heart of the home.

From there, everything followed. Mirrors and gold finishes were replaced with reclaimed wood and earthy materials, softening the overall feel. Though compact, the home’s open layout meant every space had to feel distinct yet connected. The result was a calm, cohesive, and quietly unique home that we still miss. It sold in a weekend.
